If you have damaged your hair with modern styling products and equipment, cider vinegar can restore it to its former glory. Rid your hair of that dry, dull look brought on by dyes and hair dryers.

Start a new routine every fortnight. Put one small teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in one glass of water, then apply it to your hair and gently massage for five minutes.  You will need to rinse well with fresh, warm water. Inbetween treatments. just wash your hair as you would normally.

Eliminate dandruff

Some dandruff conditions are caused by an over-growth of natural fungus on the scalp. It causes the unsightly white flakes that we find so embarrassing. Luckily, apple cider vinegar possesses anti-fungal properties and helps the scalp to stay healthy and free from flaking skin.

The remedy is simple but you will need a spray bottle to distribute the treatment correctly on your scalp. Mix 200ml of water with the same amount of apple cider vinegar. Shake to mix well. Wash your hair with your normal shampoo then spray the liquid on your head until your scalp is well covered. You can massage to achieve full coverage. Wash thoroughly with warm water and dry as normal.

To make a fantastic cider vinegar cleanser, take 100ml of cider vinegar and dilute with the same amount of water. Mix this well store in the fridge. When you want to cleanse you face, wash first with soap and then moisten a cotton ball with the tonic and wipe gently and smoothly across your face. You will find that you need to moisturise less as your skin so healthy – naturally!

Cider vinegar has been used for centuries to remedy skin spots. They will lighten and appear less noticeable but may not disappear. This is a natural remedy and so the effects are subtle.

To make the remedy you will need apple cider vinegar and onion – both have natural astringent properties. Juice the onion by placing it in a blender. Then mix the juice with half of a small glass of apple cider vinegar. Apply to the dark blemish using a cotton bud and let it work for twenty minutes. After this, wash your face well. Be careful not to expose yourself to sun during this time. Repeat the treatment everyday for 15 days. Gradually, you will notice the marks looking paler and softer.
